Depending on your lifestyle orsituation, you may find yourself picking a printer for your needs. Some times the printer will be used to do casual printing at home, or if you’re a busy worker bee type person, the office, whether its’ atwork or at the home office.
Some printers are designed for moderate use, medium yield of printed documents. THe laserjet, bubblejet, officejet, lexmark, etc types of printers aer designed for thsi purpose. They can be used mostly for teh home and maybe small amounts of print at the office.
If you need to print several thousand documents per day then you likely will need to forego the smaller, home printers and get hte big, gigantic industrial class of super printers, or laserjet printers. These mammoth printers can easily print several thousand sheets of paper per 10 minutes/hour and prints them stupid fast. While you can print with color, be warned that it will significantly lower the print speed and quality of the documents or images you are printing, not to mention quality will be an issue unless you set the prints peed tosomething really really slow. Also, color cartridges for these kinds of laserjet type printers are really expensive and definately something only a large or medium sized corporation can afford to pay for. Most laserjet printers, however, use and print only in black, on white paper, which is the most common medium of printed documents and colors.
These cost cheap amounst of money in bulk and often times, you can score discounts if you purchase 100 printer cartridges or more from either your inkjet cartridge dealer or ink manufacturer. Most companies, schools, and entities either have canon laserjet printers or HP laserjet printers. They use actual lasers to print documents in a fast, crisp, high-quality DPI (dots per inch) way and it doesn not consume much in the way of ink. You can probably print about 30000 pages of printed material before you have to repalce the toner ink cartridges.
So when it comes to picking a printer to buy and then use, consider whether your uses will be for home, office, or both. The real decision should be based on whether you will plan on printing a lot of pages of stuff, or just a page here and a page there for an example. If it’s a little printing, go with a small, home printer. For industrial, large quantity use, use a laserjet giant printer.
